White Positive Shims: +2.5, +2.0, +1.5, +1.0, +0.5, 0.0.
Black Negative Shims: -0.5, -1.0, -1.5, -2.0, -2.5, -3.0, -3.5*, -4.0*, -4.5*, -5.0*. *Coming soon.
Starting Point.
Neutral Lift.
Combining the Mast Value and the Front Wing Value yields the Neutral Lift Shim Value, the ideal Starting Point for most riders.
As you gain experience, the KT Foiling Shim System allows you to start fine tuning Back Wing Shim Values, to refine the setup, whether you need more lift or less lift. This may involve more positive or more negative shim settings, to maximize the usable range of your front foil across different conditions.
Positive (+) calculation result: Use White Shim with (+) angle.
Negative (-) calculation result: Use Black Shim with (-) angle.
