Response: Hi Olivier,
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts on the Super K 2 Carbon!
Really stoked to hear that the board feels perfectly balanced in flight, super easy on the foot switches, and still smooth yet nervous in the waves. That’s exactly the kind of all-round, forgiving-but-high-performance ride we were aiming for.
Your review made our day – riders like you pushing the gear in real conditions are the best feedback we can get.
If you ever feel like sharing a short video clip or a couple of photos of the setup in action, we’d love to feature it on our channels (with full credit, of course).
Wishing you endless sessions and light wind ahead!

Currently riding a KT Super K 92lt 6't5" board which I absolutely love, it has taken me so far in my progress over the past year. Im still an intermediate, but carving gybes 90% & learning to tack.
Just received my brand new KT 85cm mast, Nomad 1130 & 830 with longer fuse & tails to match. So stoked. Cold here in Canada now but might go out anyway to try them.
Question is mast position on this board.
Currently ride with mast near the middle of the track, but would like to know recommended position. In addition, does this mean front of mast base plate on a certain number on track or leading edge of mast estimated at certain position in the track?
Or, do I just lift the board up assembled with my foil so it lifts up flat with my hand under front foil?
Many thanks, so stoked to use my new Nomad set up

Jeff

Response: Hey Jeff,

Really happy to hear you are enjoying your Super K and Nomads. The 1130 and 830 is a great combo that covers you on both the good days and the really light ones.

Generally with any foil you want the center of lift right under your center of mass. If you look straight down, the front wing should land right between your feet.

I usually start by looking at the deck and figuring out where I want my feet to be, usually around the strap inserts and not too far forward or back. Then I line the front wing up between my stance. Most of the time that puts my back foot either over the mast or just slightly in front of the base plate.

If you want to do the board and foil balance test, pick it up with your palm on the foil toward the rear third of the wing, near the trailing edge, right under that rear loaded camber. That section provides a lot of the lift in the Nomads and Atlas wings.

Since these foils have a lot of lift for their size and are really stall resistant, I would start a little farther back than you think and move it forward only if you need more lift.

If the foil is too far forward it will feel very pitchy, sensitive, and even draggy.

Best,
Ryan Arzy

I have been riding the 2023 Wing Drifter 56L for the past two years and am absolutely loving it! Its been used anywhere from flat water 15 knots to gusting over 40 knots mostly on the ocean in southern New England.I’ve been wanting to upgrade to keep the quiver current and am looking at the Superr K v2 50L but am also wondering if the more narrow board means I should up the volume to 60 (I’m 180 lbs and have been winging for 5+ years). Thanks KT and team!

Response: Hey Jeff,

That is great to hear that you are loving the Wing Drifter! I think the Super K 2 is going to be a great upgrade to your current board.

So you are correct with thinking that you should go up in volume a bit with the Super K 2 as it is much more narrow. Going up in volume will not sacrifice any performance with these boards. I live in the Gorge and weigh 185lbs and in the past I was riding a 50-60L board as well. Now the board that I ride for all conditions is the Super K 2 80L. Do you ride with straps or are you a strapless rider? If you ride straps, you could get away with the 60L, but if you are a strapless rider, I would recommend bumping up to the 70L. It will just be easier all around but still able to get as aggressive as you want with turns.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

All the best,

After months of riding the KT Super K 2 Pro Carbon, one thing is clear — this board is something else.

Ultra-light, incredibly responsive, and perfectly balanced, it delivers a pure, effortless flying sensation both in wingfoil and parawing.

We’ve just added a few boards to the SwellAddiction test fleet, so if you’ve been curious to feel the difference…

Response: Merci Mathieu! Wishing you a great riding weekend. KT Team

Very impressed with ease of take off on my 90ltr K2 Carbon. I’m 83Kg.
Looks great. Not sure if I should’ve got next size down, but supposed that would lose some of the early take off advantage.
Would have bought the pro version if was more readily available in UK.

This board does it all, super stable on starting and in the air. The more length give you more stability, the reduced width on the other hand more agility and easier turning, never rail catching. The smaller sizes are speed rockets, if you are into speed foiling. Jumping reminds me on jumping with Windsurfboards, super balanced flights once in the air. Thumbs up, love it!

I just rode my new pro v2 today.
I have the v1 60L annd 105L and rode it for a full year, Squamish, Gorge, LaVentana, loved the v1.
I moved up to the 70L v2 and am blown away at how much of an improvement from the v1 it was.
I’m 85 kg.
The v1 is an incredible board.
The v2 is an upgrade and delivered way beyond my expectations.
My experience is the V2 comes off the water faster than the v1. The 70 L v2 is the same dimensions as the v1 but get off the water faster with the extra volume with no downfall with turning performance.
Found it recovered on touch down better than the v1 which was not expected as it has way less rocker.
I would say the 70L v2 is just as stable as the 60L v1 maybe more stable.
Deck feels slightly narrower.
I personally love the changes and don’t know how they could make it any better!

Now I have tested my new Super K2 boards 104 and 90, from lightest to strong winds and I can only say, what fantastic boards! Usually with my 90kg I was not an early fly rider but now I'm one:-) On Garda Lake I used my 90l. board with a 4.5 wing and a 1100 HA foil in lightest conditions and it worked so well. My brother with only 70kg was very wondered about my early and long flying when he used a 5,0 wing:-) In the stronger days I used smaller foils with 900 or 750 and the starting speed was reached in a few seconds without any effort like never before. The agility is like from a much smaller board. And the optical feeling with the wave gun shape is so amazing!

Hi Folks,
I have the Ginxu Super K 104 and foiling on our lakes in Germany. It is Phantastic and it’s incredible how fast the take off happens. I love it! There is just one small issue. The track boxes are too deep that I have problems with the screws. It is cumbersome to screw tightly. Other boards e.g. Duotone have a second track 2 cm deeper to fix the pics.

Kind regards
Stefan

Response: Hi Stefan
We’re happy to hear you’re loving the board and appreciate your feedback about the track boxes being deeper than other boards you’ve used.

To resolve this, we suggest using 30mm Torx or Hex bolts instead of 25mm, which should make mast installation much easier.

That said, we’ve addressed this in our latest Super K2 and Dragonfly models, which now feature new 14’\' custom-built tracks with internal riser channels. These elevate the t-nuts, making setup/removal easier and compatible with a wider range of screw lengths.

Hope this helps!

any board-bag recommendation for the Super K 92L

Response: Mahalo for the stoke—notes like yours fire up the whole crew!

The KT-2 has been Keith’s “never-stop-tweaking” project for months, so hearing that you already loved the first version and still jumped on v2 means a lot.

Once you’ve had a few sessions, we’d love to hear how it feels under your feet.

In the meantime, if you need anything else, feel free to let us know.

Enjoy the new ride, and thanks again for sharing the passion!

I am an advanced kite foiler that has a prosthesis and want to wing foil water start like Tyson Poor does as I am unable to kneel. He recommended to me the KT super K 60 L , however I am 220 lbs, my question is could I sink the 70L or 60 L better?. I know that I would only be able to do it in 20 knots. I also realize it will be a challenge, I welcome challenge. Appreciate your advice. Thx Phil

Response: Aloha Phil, I think at 220, the 70L would be the ticket. 60L will be easy to sink but much harder to get up on foil.

All the best,

Tyson Poor

Good morning,
What bolt size is recommended for my super k 6’5”?
I use a lift mast, but bolts I have are too short to reach the nut.
Thank you!
Jeff

Response: Hey Jeff,

Thank you for reaching out!

We recommend the 30mm M8 screws for the KT Mast Tracks.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thank you,

On a recent trip to Maui on passed through the Forward board shop and had the chance to demo the 80l version of the Super K. I was blown away. The board seemed to be an upgrade on every aspect of my shorter "high-performance" board. Effortless take-offs, excellent stability, and most notably extreme carve-ability. I really was digging the rail clearance and seamless touch-downs in turns. On waves, it was very fast down the line, which I think is because the extra nose area allowed me to move more "forward." Awesome board, excellent design, great people. Alooooha!

Response: Aloha Ryan, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for being stoked about our gear. We look forward to sharing some rides with you on your next trip.

I got this board for a week winging in Maui last summer and instantly fell in love with it. I\'m ready to buy. I wonder if you have an 80 L version in the color seen in this video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LcIuVEKk6U8

Thanks for your time,

I still use my Quatro Wingdrifter 90 ltrs. 1. Gen. in the 3rd season now. I feel comfortable in winds from 8 to 25 knots (if higher I still love windsurfing in waves with my ONE and my CUBE). Now it's time to look for a new board, that is as small and agile as possible, works as a one-board-solution (5,5 and 4,0 wing) and offers maximum stability for the kneestart and getting home in lulls - for flatwater and messy northern Europe onshore waves at ca. 20 knots. I fancy the Super K as well as the Drifter 4. But I wonder which size to take. I am 78kg. Thanks for your support and ALOHA

Frank, Germany
Aug 23, 2024

I can only confirm the description of the Super K from KT and the other riders that shared their opinion. The Super K is amazing especially in unsteady wind conditions! Despite of its length it never touches the water even in tight turns with my mid-aspect wave foils.

I tried the 6\'5 with 92 l volume and with my body weight of 65 kg I had a lot of fun with it. I\'m using now one size smaller the 6\'1 with 80 l volume. Even in the lightest gust I can achieve easily a takeoff with it and when the wind drops I can drive home in displacement mode or can paddel back.
The 80 l board is my lightwind oriented board.
I\'m curious how small can I go with Super K.

Dietmar, Deutschland

Looks really great.
The shape is very similar to a Division 2 board. Like my old Lechner.
I have long wondered why this is not implemented in wing and surf foiling. You can't get to the water faster in light winds. I can't wait to see how tippy the board is when standing up and taking off.

Response: Aloha Dietmar,

Thank you for your feedback—it means a lot, especially considering the impact the D2 boards have had on all of us. They continue to be a major source of inspiration for our work.

Regarding stability, the SuperK has a distinct advantage over the Lechner. The board becomes flatter toward the back/standing area, which, when combined with its faster acceleration, enhances overall stability. Additionally, the foil acts like a keel, further amplifying this effect. This unique combination is why someone who might struggle to maintain balance on a much wider Stand-Up paddle board often finds it easier to stand on the SuperK.

We look forward to hearing how it works out for you.

Mahalo again for your insights!

I've been really impressed with the performance of KT boards this season. I have the Ginxu 2 Pro Carbon 46L and the Super K 80L. Both boards have great acceleration and are very efficient in getting up on the foil. I've decided to trade in the 80L Super K for the 60L size to deal with moderate to light wind conditions. I'm planning to use the Ginxu 2 Pro Carbon 46L on days with wind speeds of 16 knots or higher. I also weigh 88 kg, and I'm impressed with how well the 46L performs. I had ordered the Ginxu 2 Pro Carbon 54L, but it hadn't arrived due to popular demand globally. I was offered to demo the 46L until the 54L arrives, and I can confidently say that I am sticking with the 46L as getting up on the foil has never been this easy.

Hi
I was just wondering when the KT foils will be out? Ive got glimpses of them here and there on social media and I’m hoping to get my hands on one soon. I’m in europe (France or UK)
Thanks in advance

Hendrik

PS: Got myself a Ginxu Super K, and I love it. It’s now my only board!

Hi, I have the KT dragonfly 7'7 that I use for DW and I also use it most of the time for winging as I can ride it underpowered. I really love the finish, look, attention to detail and performance. I've even come to dislike my 46L sinker (78kg rider) as it requires me to be overpowered. I'm very interested in the new Ginxu super K and wonder how small I could ride it. Sensible choice would be to get the 80L but 60L seems appealing, do you have feedback from riders who used it "small" relative to their weight ? Thanks

Guillaume
